Situated on the beautiful North Yorkshire coast with stunning views out to sea, the town of Scarborough is home to around 60,000 permanent residents, although the population grows considerably in the summer months when the bulk of the year's tourists arrive.
Despite the fact that Scarborough is probably best known as a fishing town, it has also made something of a name for itself in more recent times for its business, creative and hi-tech industries and has become an attractive option for budding entrepreneurs thinking of moving to the area.
As with many so-called traditional English seaside towns, Scarborough boasts a number of arcades and shopping areas which stretch along the stunning Victorian promenade.
The sea-front is perhaps the town's most enduring and best loved feature, but Scarborough has so much more on offer - its immaculate Victorian architecture, the lively town centre and even Scarborough Castle.
